Born in 1973 Elina studied Political Science & Communication at the National University of Athens and holds an MBA Degree with Marketing focus from ALBA, Athens.
She started her professional life in Unilever Hellas where she stayed for 2.5 years. During that period she built the foundations of her Marketing career, changing roles of brand management for some of the world’ s most famous brands like Dove, Organics and Cif.
In 2002 she joined Vodafone at a time that mobile telephony in Greece was building penetration. She has changed many different roles ever since, starting from Prepaid Product Mgt. In 2005 she became Supervisor of Consumer Postpaid segment and launched the first to market Family Plans, a best practice later shared with other countries of the Group.
In 2008 she became Marketing Communication Manager for Consumer Products and broadened the role with Retail Marketing Communication and Music Sponsorships. For the 3 years in that role her projects acquired many awards like Effie (for effective marketing), Ermis (for creativity), Retail Business (for retail) and even a New York Festivals Worldmedal (for music events).
In 2011 Elina switched on to an integrated Online unit heading role in Vodafone. Her new team has been making some noise in the online business in Greece, with a mission to make Vodafone.gr a reason for Greeks to love Vodafone. In July 2012 thanks to her multi-channel proposition “Usage Control via web and mobile app”, Vodafone received the Award for Innovation in Customer Service by the Greek Institute of Customer Service.
Elina is a brave mother of three boys, taking multi-tasking to the next level.
